SIENA BIOTECH is a limited private company founded in 2000 and actively operating in research since 2004. It is based on a drug discovery model encompassing a series of technological platforms ranging form target identification to clinical proof of concept.SIENA BIOTECH has grown rapidly since inception, and has signed multiple international R&D collaborations and agreements.The Company continues to expand both its high calibre scientific research staff and its research facilities.

The currently active seven research projects are representative of Siena Biotech's focus on CNS disorders.Our research efforts are equally divided between a search for solutions to neglected diseases on one hand and to other diseases at higher prevalence on the other.One of our projects, ADIT, is financed by the European Commisions and is a joint research effort of eight European partners.
